We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our quest to help in the creation of new powerful software for satellites and space with artificial intelligence algorithms.
The Role
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll be helping in bringing our data science team's machine learning models into production, optimizing them for scale and efficiency.
You'll ensure the models' performance and reliability in a production environment, continuously seeking out new solutions and approaches to improve our infrastructure and practices.
With an eye on the future, you'll also play a key role in scaling our infrastructure to accommodate more customers and satellites.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models in production, ensuring their performance and scalability.
Collaborate with the data science team to refine and optimize models for production environments.
Proactively propose and implement new tools, best practices, and approaches to enhance our machine learning infrastructure.
Manage and scale our cloud infrastructure to support an increasing number of customers and satellites.
Stay updated on the latest developments in machine learning and AI, contributing to open-source projects and community initiatives.
Requirements
Strong experience in Python and familiarity with deep neural networks and classical machine learning methods.
Knowledge of Python Libraries for data management, machine learning, and database management systems.
Proven track record of deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production environments with examples of projects and tools you develop.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and scalable systems (experience with Kubernetes is a plus).
A passion for AI and machine learning, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Contributions to open-source projects and community involvement in AI/ML are highly valued.
Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Location
Full Remote (with periodic in-person meetings with the team in Milan).
What we offer
Salary range between 40k - 50k gross yearly (negotiable based on experience).
