The Role
As our Python Developer, you'll be integral to our team, maintaining and enhancing our codebase to support our ambitious projects.
You'll focus on the development and maintenance of our backend systems and data streams, utilizing state-of-the-art tools and technologies like FastAPI, Polars, Duckdb, gRPC, Poetry, and much more…
Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing resources and ensuring our infrastructure can scale effectively to handle increasing data, traffic, and users.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and develop the company's Python codebase, including internal libraries and tools.
Enhance our backend systems and data streams to support our AI-driven space technologies.
Optimize resource usage to ensure efficiency and scalability in a high-demand production environment.
Collaborate with the team to scale our infrastructure, accommodating more customers and expanding our satellite operations.
Propose new ideas, new solutions, and new technologies.
Requirements
Proven experience in Python development, and knowledge of the language and the ecosystem.
Knowledge of libraries and tools for development, testing, data management, and codebase operability.
Experience with backend development and managing data streams in a production environment.
A knack for optimizing resources and scaling applications to meet the demands of a growing user base.
Passion for software development and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Contributions to open-source projects are highly regarded.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
Location
Full Remote (with periodic in-person meetings with the team in Milan).
What we offer
Salary range between 35k - 45k gross yearly (negotiable based on experience).
